Soundmonsters came kicking and screaming into this world at a Kreuzberg loft party in 2006. In a back room, under a desk, with only a trashy mike and a dodgy laptop, the boys laid down a vocal track which was to become their first 12 inch single: Rock The Lovehate Sound.
A little later the spontaneous recording made its way to the executive suite of one of Berlin's most wanted electro labels and was picked up immediately and remixed by techno legend Dj Westbam. The 3 track vinyl stormed onto the playlists of Berlin's finest electro dj's and drew ecstatic crowds to their debut gig at the seminal techno/electro club Maria am Ostbahnhof.

The monsters had reincarnated from their lofi noise roots, mixing a spoonful of wicked beats, a dollop of mesmeric bass and a sprinkling of berlin techno to create a perfect slice of electronic future pop that totally hits the zeitgeist.

The monsters infectious and uplifting sound was on every afficionados headphones and further releases followed with remixes from berlin dance merchants Lexy (Lexy & K-Paul), L.U.P.O. (Blowfeldt 59), Hardyhard, Digitalex and Tiasz.

In 2009 the band signed to St Emily Music and released the first album: Lovehate Sounds. Their second is due out in May 2010: Watch this space!
